General Data Protection Regulation - 2018 (GDPR)
To comply with the GDPR you need to be made aware that your Caludin.com account will, at a bare minimum, contain a uniquely identifiable name (hereinafter “your user name”), a personal password used for logging into your account (hereinafter “your password”) and a personal, valid email address (hereinafter “your email”). Your information for your account at Caludin.com is protected by data-protection laws applicable in the country that hosts us. Any information beyond your user name, your password, and your email address required by Caludin.com during the registration process is either mandatory or optional, at the discretion of Caludin.com. In all cases, you have the option of what information in your account is publicly displayed. Furthermore, within your account, you have the option to opt-in or opt-out of automatically generated emails.
Furthermore we will store all of the IP address that you use to post with. Depending on your preferences Caludin.com may send you emails to the email address that Caludin.com holds in your account which will either be that you used when you registered or one that you have subsequently changed, but you are able to change these preferences from your User Control Panel (UCP) at any time should you wish to stop receiving them.
The personal details that you gave us when you signed up, or added later, will be used solely for the purposes of Caludin.com board functionality. They will not be used for anything else and neither will they be passed on to any third party without your explicit consent. You can check, at any time, the personal details Caludin.com is holding about you from the Profile section of your UCP.
The only other information about you is that which you decide to post in the forum, whereupon it is considered to be “publicly available” as it will have been indexed by search engines as well as on-line archive sites.
You can also delete your account at any time by PMing or contacting the admin But again any non-personal posts will remain, and your name changed to something generic. his is so any discussions are not interrupted by missing posts. Also after you delete your account it cannot be recovered, so be careful! You can of course create another if you ever wish to.
Also if you live in the US must be 13 years of age or older. If you live elsewhere please check what age your countries law says you have to be. You can do so here. Any accounts found that are not the required age will be deleted.
Finally, usernames cannot have full names. You can use a first name if you want, but no last names.
This policy explains in detail how “Caludin.com” along with its affiliated companies (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “Caludin.com”, “https://caludin.com”) and phpBB (hereinafter “they”, “them”, “their”, “phpBB software”, “www.phpbb.com”, “phpBB Limited”, “phpBB Teams”) use any information collected during any session of usage by you (hereinafter “your information”).
Your information is collected via two ways. Should you forget your password for your account, you can use the “I forgot my password” feature provided by the phpBB software. This process will ask you to submit your user name and your email, then the phpBB software will generate a new password to reclaim your account.
