Toshiba, HP, Acer.
The HP one was by far the best... the other two were a bit slow, and didn't last very long.

I never used HP too much. Had one I shared with my brother. Wasn't huge on it, but the one laptop I bought this year is an HP and I really like it.
Do you prefer a desktop computer or a laptop?

I prefer laptops. I need the portability that they offer (since I tend to take my computer with me on holidays).
