Role Play: Fantasy Adventures!

[Megan]

"But that sounds like a lame place." Kyle said. "Who wants to be in a dumb old desert? Almost as bad as trees!"

[Juneberry]

"It's not like we choose where we grow up." She laughed a bit. "But while I agree the trees are getting boring... The breeze still feels nicer than the sandstorms."

[Megan]

Kyle was quiet before frowning. "I guess so." he said, his frown deepening.

In the distance you could hear what sounded like people going through the forest.

[Juneberry]

She paused, hearing footsteps- footsteps that weren't their own. She turned towards Kyle with a curious glance. "To be sure, you weren't being pursued, were you? If not, it's fine- but if so, we might want to get out of this part of the woods quickly."

[Megan]

Kyle hesitating biting his lip. "It's probably just the guards from back home. Probably figured out I snuck out." he said before quickly grabbing her hand and dragging her further in the forest.

[Juneberry]

She felt surprised when she felt him grasp her hand, but followed him readily. She knew a thing or two about having guards, or at least protective people, at home. Still, she couldn't help the way her mind wandered as he dragged her deeper into the forest. Just what were they guarding him from? "Why did you have to sneak out? Couldn't you just ask?"

[Megan]

Kyle snorted. "Yeah right. No way. I'm technically not supposed to go outside at all." he said as they walked a short distance before hiding behind a rather large tree.

[Juneberry]

Hiding behind the tree with him, she kept close. She didn't think it was a good idea for her to be spotted by whoever guarded him- they'd ask her questions, and she wasn't necessarily good at lying. However, keeping close had its own consequences. She felt a bit red in her cheeks from it, even if it was her own stubborn decision. "Well... I'm glad you did. Since I wasn't alone here thanks to that."

[Megan]

Kyle blushed slightly at that. "Um..." he stopped as they could hear voices coming closer. A small group of men, in shining silver armor passed by not looking all that thrilled to be there. Kyle kept quiet till they had passed, then sighed as they left.

As the pursuers disappeared and she heard him let out a relieved sigh, she looked to him with a smile. "Now that that's over with... What should we do? We're even deeper in the woods now..."
