Role Play: Mao (ver. 2)

Meri sighed to say, "I'd rather ride the horse myself. Unless there are chocobo's here?" She asked looking around as Meredy sighed to say; "Yes there are chocobo's here. But this town is known mostly for horses. We can go a town over if you wanna ride on the bird instead. It's up to what ever you guys want in the end.'

Meri asked; "What about a horseless carriage"? I thought I saw one of the uh.. Car's driven around by one other nation just a few days ago."

Meredy says, "That is an experimental vehicle and under the use of the Kingdom of Wynd. We'd have to talk to their tech department about it." Which made Meri sigh. "I could almost afford to buy a car when I was at home before I was dragged here through the book I was reading and now I can't get out of it." She revealed. "I was kind of surprised to see someone from Deep Space Nine in the novel I was surprised it got published with how picky Paramount Pictures is." she giggled looking over to Doctor Bashir.

Kyle shrugged. “I…I can deal with the horse or chocobo.” He said. “I just don’t usually ride is all.”

Julian shrugged, "I'm inside a book? Well that is interesting, I'm sorry your stuck in it same as me Meri. Still thank you for telling me what you did. As for me I've never ridden a horse or chocobo so either is fine with me. But it sounded like Meri wanted to ride one, so let's go the next town over and get some to ride. Hopefully a stable hand can show us how to ride one." Looking over to Kyle he says, "I've heard some rumor where I have lived about you myself Prince Kyle, I just wanted to say that i's been nice to meet you." As he hummed walking next to Meri with a huge grin on his face.

Aaron nodded, "Yea, that's fine. Seeing as Meri is the one who wasn't effected by the x virus like everyone else I think we can get a chocobo for her." Heading over to a near by stable he says, "For now we'll ride some horses over and trade that way it'll be cheaper."

When a stable hand came over he asked them to show the doctor and Kyle how to ride a horse. "Wait what? Lord Kyle? Shouldn't he know how to ride horses already?" Aaron shrugged, "He just told me he wasn't sure how to ride one, same with the doctor. Will you help me out or not?" he nodded to walk over and explain how to ride a horse even helping the doctor onto one. "There not so tough is it since you know how to get on a horse now is it?"

Julian shrugged, "It wasn't so bad." Looking over to Kyle he asked, "Kyle how was it for you learning to ride on the chocobo?"

Meanwhile, Aaron walked over to sit by Meri and ask, "How do you know how to ride a chocobo anyway Meri? Since your not from this world originally and all."

"Actually.." Meri began, "Since I've had to make some runs to a town over for Mark for some deliveries I learned from the young man here a couple of months ago. So I learned the same way both Julian and Kyle did. Kyle seems kinda bummed out to me, hopefully getting out of here cheers him up a bit."

“Um…okay I guess? I guess their a little less scary then horses anyway…” Kyle said though he still seemed rather nervous about the whole thing.

Meri smiled over at Kyle to say, "I think its not so bad. At least we'll get out of here quicker then on horses anyway since chocobo's seem to be faster." She told him in a slight giggle. Hopping onto a chocobo along with the others, they left from the stables together leaving from town headed towards the boarder to the Kingdom of Tzen. Stopping at the gate where two soldiers are stationed, they made their way over to speak to them.

Meredy bows her head to say, "We are with the Kingdom of Silver. With me is Prince Aaron Dynvson. We have with us Doctor Julian Bashir and someone who is immune to Mao who we wish to take to the hospital and come up with a cure. Can we please go through to the Wizard Hospital?"

The soldiers laugh at what Meredy said until Julian actually stood up to them confirming that is indeed what they are doing. "We must confer with our Queen. She is the one who allows anyone in." One of them said.

Meredy says, "Is there someplace we can wait until she would allow us in?"

The other knight nods. "Please wait just inside at the Inn on the other side of the wall. She will meet all of you in three days. She is a very busy woman."

Meredy, "Of course. Thank you for allowing us the pleasure of meeting your leader. What is her name?"

the other knight says, "Queen Kira Lightly of the Wizard Kingdom of Tzen. I am one of her many knights Sir Jasper. the other man on my left is Sir Kanz. Whom are you and your friends mam?"

"I am also a Knight, Lady Meredy with Prince Aaron Dyvnson, Kyle Lennart, Meri Night, and Doctor Julian Bashir." She told Sir Jasper. Jasper chuckled to say, "I think Queen Lightly will be ticked to meet Prince Leenart. She has heard a lot of good things about him. Same with Prince Dyvonson." As the knights let them though the guarded gate into a small-town area with an Inn inside the area. Arriving at the Inn, they get off their chocobos and head inside.

Once inside they are greeted by the couple running the place as Jasper explains things. They nod as he leaves headed back to guarding the gate. The woman behind the Inn's table says, "I am the wife who runs this place, just call me Sarah. My husband is Reno. Together we're the Potts, which is also the name of our Inn. Since you'll be here for three days to see our Queen that will cost ya about 300 coin."

"Wait your charging us to stay here? What about trying to cure Mao?" Meredy asks. Reno chuckles to say, "If your doctor friend can create a cure 300 coins will be pocket change. You are aware there is a ton of money for a cure correct?" Meredy shook her head. 'No not really. But yea, I think if we can pull our money we can afford to stay. Right everyone?"

Meri says, "I can pay, I have been saving up to come out here for almost over 2 years now." As she walks forwards to hand the woman 300 coins like it was nothing. She nods to count it out, "To thank you I will give all of you separate rooms if you would like." Meri nodded as she handed out keys to everyone for their separate rooms in the Inn. Once all five of them had their keys Meredy thanked Meri for paying and the woman for the keys as Meredy head off to her separate room to get some rest. Except for Meri who asked the husband where their bar was since she was hungry for lunch, and he told her it was in the back. Thanking him she headed for the bar for something to eat. While everyone else did what they wanted after getting the key to their room.

Kyle decided to check out his room first. He was kinda hungry but wasn’t sure if he really felt like eating so he took his key and unlocked the door to his room. He barely looked at it though before flopping on the bed.
