Role Play: Mao (ver. 2)

Once in his room Aaron walked over to his bed, took his boots off and just layed down. Sighing happily he closed his eyes trying to see if he had heard anything about the Queen they'd be meeting tomorrow.

Julian just pocketed his key and followed Meri into the bar to see her looking over some sort of menu. Sitting next to her he asks, "Deciding on what to order? I like the look of the chicken salad myself." He told her looking the menu over thoughtfully.

Meredy joined them after she spotted Meri sitting at a table with the doctor. "So, what looks good to you guys?" She asked perusing the menu as Meri says, "I'm thinking about getting the turkey dinner. I'm starved." Julian chuckles to say, "I think I'll get the chicken salad with Caesar dressing I believe." Meredy shrugged to say, "Actually I think I want the chicken pot pie, I'm pretty hungry too." She decided at last.

Prince Aaron was surprised when Meredy didn't come to check on him so he decided to get up from laying in his bed to head into the bar inside the Inn to find Meredy, Meri and Dr Bashir looking over the menu. Shrugging since he was hungry he decided to join them. A waitress came over as he told her that one of their other companions Kyle was asleep in his room and asked her to send him their best meal (what ever Megan wants for Kyle) to his room as the rest of the group ordered what they wanted. Eventually after they got their drinks their meals showed up that everyone enjoyed happily. "So hey ummm.. Doc, what are you going to do once we've got a cure for Mao?"

After their food arrived Julian shrugged, Looking to Meri he says, "Maybe if I can make a cure, we can both go home somehow." He wasn't sure how exactly but it was something he hoped would happen. "Even if neither of us can go home, I'd like to settle down in a kingdom some day. Maybe one I make myself? Who knows. All in all, I'm just glad to have meet all of you so far." :]

Meanwhile

A cute young maid knocks on Kyle's door. "Lord Kyle? Sir? There's some food on a try for you, it's still hot if you want it. Prince Aaron sends his best regards."

Meri just giggled, "Going home would be nice, but I keep getting this funny jrpg feeling that I won't be able to go home because of there being a deeper reason I have to stay and help. I hope I'm not wrong..." She sighed feeling that she wasn't deep down. Meredy just chuckled to say, "Don't worry about it Meri, I'm sure if all else fails we can find a place for you in Aaron or even my Kingdom if you like. Unless Julian's kingdom is more your taste." She winked making Meri giggle. Meri smiles to say after drinking some wine from her glass, "Maybe we'll see. I just hope Kyle is ok." Looking to Aaron she says, "Thank you for thinking of sending food to him. I'm sure he'll appreciate it. Or not? I don't know Kyle yet, but deep down I'm sure he's a kind person."

[Megan]

Kyle yawned getting up to answer the door. He blushed lightly seeing the cute maid. “Oh…um…thanks I guess.” He said timidly.

The maid smiles to curtsey to say, "My name is Peach. My mom named me that." She giggled. "I hope you enjoy your dinner." She says to bow to him before she quickly leaves as she was blushing when she left.

Finished eating Meri yawned to look over to everyone, "When was her highness supposed to meet with us again?" The knight Meredy says, "Tomorrow is the best she can make it, is what the guards told us." Which made her nod as she wishes everyone a good night heading off to her room. Once in her bedroom she gets into bed and goes right to sleep.

Alone with Aaron and Julian she giggles to ask, "So which one of you guys has the crush on Meri? I'm guessing both of you." she teased them.

Aaron just ignored Meredy, he wasn't sure if even Meri liked him. He was sure Meredy was teasing and probably feeling ignored so he just ate his meal pretending he didn't hear her. "Huh? I missed that, this food is delicious and the noise in here is a bit loud with everyone coming in late for dinner." Which was on brand since the bar was filling up with patrons for the night pretty fast.

Julian just shrugged, "Actually she's just a patent of mine. The only crush I've ever had was on a woman I could never have, unfortunately. She married a Klingon and I left right after I retired from Starfleet following a friend of mine looking for her family. We got separated and I ended up crash landing here. I've been here for two years, I hope that one day she'll find me again. In fact you Mrs. Meredy remind me a lot of my friend who I haven't seen in years. I hope that either Meri gets me home through the book she got sucked in through, or your finding out about your lineage and remembering who you really are. Because I feel you might be my old friend who might have ended up here as I did so long ago and is why you can't remember anything. She had amnesia but you say you were kidnapped at birth, when perhaps you weren't. Still only time will see if I'm correct in my hypothesis or not. Now if you will excuse me I'm finished with my meal and will head to bed now. Good night Prince Aaron and lady Meredy." With those words said Julian headed off to his room in the inn, into the bed to get some shut eye for the night.
