Yes, I had some "salt and pepper chicken", with an innocent-looking little pepper as a garnish. Once I'd finished my meal, I ate it... which turned out to be a big mistake. I needed to have the rest of my drink in order to wash the aftertaste away.

I believe it was a serrano pepper... about 3 times hotter than a jalapeño pepper.

Not something I've really thought about, but I imagine some of them will!

(Though, I won't bring it up until it's relevant to the plot of an RPG )

Not really. A few of them are loosely based on real people from my personal life, but it's usually only one attribute (like their general physical appearance).
