This takes place in your typical fantasy world, with magic and such, but not much in form of technology.

It all started when the Light and Dark kingdoms went to war. At first it didn't seem like it would last long, but it did. Years and years. Some other kingdoms joined the fight with both sides. An end didn't seem in sight until...one of the kingdoms released something (as to who did this, its a mystery. Both sides keep pointing fingers at the other) through some form of spell. At first it didn't seem to have any effect. But, soon people started to get sick. Soldiers, innocents. It was on both sides sadly. Soon, people started to die.

Doctors and mages were called in to find a way to stop it, but no solution was found. Instead the sickness is spreading all over. They have started calling it Mao. Even though all have failed people are still searching for a cure...

Appearance: Histroy: Kyle is the prince of Lennart Kingdom. His kingdom allied with the Light Kingdom and joined the fight on their side.

Kyle never paid much mind to the war, instead he was more interesting in chasing girls.

Name: Nestor Nikolakis
Race: Merman
Gender: Male
Weapons: A 3-metre golden trident
Powers: No magical powers; however, he is an excellent strategist who is adept at hand-to-hand combat.
Appearance: Nestor has sky-blue skin, and a full beard and moustache (which are sapphire-blue, but starting to go grey). Most of the time, he goes out in his military uniform of gold-plated armour.
History: Nestor is the former Duke of New Atlantis, who remained in his position until he was 50 years old. At this point, his and Cassandra's oldest son, Lysander, forced him out of power: he had grown unpopular with his own subjects, as he had been neglecting the non-military aspects of his role. However, his peerless skills as an admiral ensured that he remained commander of New Atlantis's armed forces after abdicating.

The mermen of New Atlantis have reluctantly joined the war on the side of the Light Kingdom. However, they'd much rather be back at home, swimming around in the open sea and having a good time.

Appearance: Something like this
History: A cast-off from a dark kingdom Orc Tribe. For some reason she was banished from her tribe and now lives and works in the Light kingdom, but since Orc's are typically Dark Kingdom soldiers, she is often met with mistrust.

Yea, the Mao rp is over 20 pages long and I have no idea where it was headed story wise. Hmm.

Sorry I meant to reply sooner, just got distracted. Yeah I meant to actually archive this and must of forgot or whatever. Probably be better to start a new one. I've been meaning to do that too just haven't had any good ideas. Though if you're still interested in the basic idea of this role play I'd be okay with starting a new version. Or something new. I'm good with whatever.
